Christmas Fun

Sunday, December 10, 2006

A friend at church made us this neat "train shed" Dad calls it a ginger bread house and says we can eat it. I like to park all my trains inside. I was a little up set when dad ate the roof, but I got over it when he gave me a bite. My new favorite Christmas treat is gingerbread boys!! Yum...

"Baby Dwebus"

Today learned about baby Dwebus in Sunday School with dad. When I got home I say him sitting on our fire place with him mom and all the animals. I just love playing with him. We go on all kinds of adventures together around the house. Mom gets mad when we don't come back though. She has to look all over for his hiding spot.

Christmas Trees

I love Christmas trees. I helped mom and dad decorate our tree today. Dad said I was a great helper. I asked questions about every single ornament. My favorite one is the bell from the Polar Express. I have taken that one off the tree at least 100 times. I love ringing it. Dad keeps making me put it back though. I could just carry it around with me. It would be a lot easier.

Picture Time

Well, mom's up to it again...It's time for our silly Christmas pictures. This year we are lucky enough to be elves working on our Christmas presents. It only took a few minutes this year to get it done because Eli kept crawling away. Right there in the middle of taking pictures he would just get up and leave. I don't think he realized if you sit still you get to eat a cookie!! I have to figure out what Maddie did this year to get out of taking pictures. Mom said it was too hard to make all three of us stay in the did she get to be the lucky one to sit out??

Get Rid of Maddie!

Today I was eating an apple for a snack. I LOVE apples. It was almost gone, so I put it down on the floor to go investigate the things in the kitchen cabinet. When I turned around...Maddie ate my entire apple!! I said "please Maddie give it back." And she walked away. I said please and everything. Mom said if I leave my food on the floor the dog can eat it. I never knew that. Maddie always gets in trouble for eating my food. Usually it's on my plate at the table, but she's the one in trouble. So I walked right up to mom and said Get rid Maddie!! Mom said NO. She told me again if I leave my food on the floor. MAddie can eat it.

A Special Day

Today is a very special day for dad. He had to answer questions that people asked. I tried to stay to watch, but it was hard to be quiet. I played with mom and Eli in the nursery. After they asked him the questions they decided that he could stay here in Wauwatosa to work at the church so they had a special dinner and church service for him. I was so tired though I couldn't go to watch. Lynn stayed with me and played lots of fun games. I sure was happy to see some of my old friends again. They all came to celebrate with our new friends in Wauwatosa.

Uncle Kevin taught me about Tinkerbel today. She is small and red and very fast. I tried and tried to catch her, but she was too quick. I tried to give her a hug and she flew away. Everyone just laughed and laughed. I just wanted to see what she looked like.

Fun With Dad

Did you know I can swim like a fish and run like a race car. I go swimming with dad every Tues. I practice my reach arms, kick legs, and blowing bubbles. Dad says if I keep drinking all the water the kids won't have any water left to swim in. Dad and I also watch NASCAR on sunday together. The cars go soo fast and then they crash. I practice running just like them.

Happy Birthday to Me!!

Happy Birthday to me! What fun. A special day just for me. Mom made Percy ad Thomas out of cake, and then I got to eat it! For some reason everyone thought I might get upset eating my favorite train. I thought they were silly. It was cake. I LOVE cake. The house was decorated like a train station and everyone came to visit me. They played with me and everyone had a great time! Thank you everyone for making this day so special.

Monster Machines In Motion

Mom and grumpy and grandma took me to the quarry today. You wouldn't believe how much fun you can have there. They have dump trucks that you can sit in and drive. I turned on the blinker and beeped the horn! I also got to sit in a bulldozer and ride in a crane way up in the sky with grumpy. We were able to dig in the dirt and climb up great big hills. Mom says next year I will be old enough to drive the excavator.

A Big Brother to Be Proud Of!

I am such a good big brother. I am teaching Eli how to walk. I hold his hands and mom helps him move his feet. My favorite part is making him fall down though. Mom says we need to work on that.

Green Beans Are Yummy!

I LOVE GREAT GRANDMA's GREEN BEANS!!!!! They are a special treat and I could eat the whole jar if dad would let me.

One Smart Guy!

Mom says I am getting so smart. I surprised her and counted to 10 just like the Count on Sesame Street and even did the Ha HA HA part at the end! I also know M for mommy, D for Daddy, E for Eli, G for Grandpa, B for Bus, P for Percy, and W and Y from Sesame Street.

Well hello everyone. You haven't heard from me in awhile and boy do I have some things to share...Since my last entry, I have lived in 5 different houses, and a hotel. I have ridden in a car, bus, and an airplane, and visited two different states. So, where should I and dad sold our house in eloit in 5 days because dad got a new job in Wawadoda (that's how I say it anyway. We had to move out of our house a few weeks before we could move into our new house so Gramps let us stay in his huge house! I had so much fun visiting him all the time..did you know he lived right upstairs in our house! That was so cool!

I also took a trip with mom and dad and Eli. We flew to Phoenix and drove across the desert to Costa Mesa Ca. I had so much fun looking at all the airplanes at the airport. I was excited to ride on the airplne. Mom said I was very brave. I don't know about that, but I sure liked all the bumps on that ride. When we landed we took an awsome bus ride!! Mom says the bus driver was crazy. We took the turns so fast. I laughed and laughed and laughed. We stayed in a very big hotel. I also went to LA to visit Aunt Pat and Maggie. Did you know airplanes fly over her house every few minutes. I spent most of my time in her back yard golfing and watching airplanes. She also took us to the ocean. I didn't like that part. The waves were scary. All I wanted to do was dig in the sand.
After our trip to LA we drove back to Phoenix. We stayed with Grandpa Dick and Kelly. It was very hot!! We drove up in the mountains and saw red rocks...I wasn't interested in that part, but Angie (Kelly's daughter) let me borrow a dvd player for the car. I could watch Kidsongs all day! Kelly also has lots of puppies. They are very quick and it was tricky for me to catch them. I tried to be gentle with them so they would like me. After our visit, we flew home.
The next day, we moved to our new house. While everyone was unloading the truck, I sat in the front seat and beeped the horn and drove with the steering wheel. It has been an adventure.

He is Risen

Happy Easter everyone! Guess what...I looked just like dad today. I wore a tie to church and everything. Mom was impressed I didn't try to take it off. She must not have known how sharp I looked. I know Eli thought all the ladies were paying attention to him...and that's ok cause he is little, but they really had all eyes on me! I had such a great day visiting everyone.

Did you know there is this bunny that brings you presents! He brought me an egg filled with cherrios. It was very tasty. He also brought me some leggos. I surprised mom and dad by naming all the colors...they thought the only color I knew was green. The easter bunny also left some golf clubs and other neat stuff and grandma and grandpa rays house. I chased golf balls all after noon. I was so busy I wouldn't even take a nap....try as mom and dad may to get me too. Thank you everyone for making my day so special.

Happy Easter

I guess this Easter bunny guy came to grandma Jodie's house and set up this neat game for me. He hid all kids of colorful eggs outside and I had to go and fid them. Grandma Jodie and Uncle Kevin had to help me at first, but I figured it out. That silly bunny even tied Easter baskets in the tree for me to find. I had so much fun. Grandma also took me for a walk with "George". "George" is my monkey friend that mom found for me. I wear him on my back and mom holds on to the tail. Mom says it is so I can't run away when I go for walks.

The Next Tiger??

I am a future golf star...Just wait and see. Dad gave me lessons in the back yard and I have got it all figured out! I wish the clubs were a little smaller though they can be tricky to swing.

Artistic Impressions

I practiced my artistic skills today. Mom and I made Valentine's Day presents for people. I learned all about glue! Mom let me color and paint too! I was a mess, but I sure had fun.

Picture Time

I am guessing another holiday is getting near...You know how I know??? You will never guess....Mom is dressing me up and taking silly pictures AGAIN. Today she told me "say cheese", so I said "cheese" but she didn't give me any. I had to get up an run to the refridge to help her out. All she wanted to do is take pictures. Now why on earth would you want to eat cheese while taking pictures. Silly Mommy.

...Will Work For Food...

Mom and Dad say I am such a good helper around the house. I love unloading the dishwasher. I even put everything away (well, most of the time I do. Sometimes I have to chew on it first and then mom has to wash it again). I also love to wash windows and clean the floor. If any of you have any work for me to do, just let me know, and I will come and help.

A Replacement

My giraffe has taken the place of my plug. The tail is perfect for chewing on at night. Mom and dad made a rule though...I can not take it out of my room. I try to sneak it past them, but they are so quick...They tell me to give him a hug and put him on my bed. Sometimes, I laugh at them...but then they "help" me put the giraffe away. What's a guy gotta do to have a little comfort around here?

"I Want Binky!"

My plug(pacifier) is gone...It's really gone this time. Mom says it will NOT be coming back.

The Final Christmas

I hear this is Merry Christmas for the last time. Today I went to Indiana to celebrate Christmas with my Great Grandma Baker, Grandma Jodie, Aunt Kay, Uncle John, and all my cousins. I learned about wrapping paper fights. I had so much fun playing with everyone. I just couldn't sit still, not even for one minute, I had a great time. Great Grandma has the best chair. It was just my size. I could get into all by myself and rock and rock and rock. Thank you everyone for making it such a wonderful day!
