Some Top Notch Baby Sitters

Aunt Terry and Uncle Dennis babysat me today. We had so much fun I didn’t even notice mom and dad weren't here. They gave me lots of snacks and played with me all afternoon. I cannot wait to spend another afternoon with them again.

And still more Christmas...

Merry Christmas AGAIN!! Today I had Christmas with Gramps and Lynn and my Aunt Terry and Uncle Dennis and my cousins Logan and Trevor. I had so much fun playing with everyone. I learned about wrestling and video games (much to mom's dismay). Everyone thought I was funny when I got spaghetti all over my self at dinner. I didn't care though it was very tasty. After dinner, we opened presents. I wanted to hand them out again, but Logan and Trevor beat me to it. I will have to be faster next year. I loved helping everyone open their gifts. I can not believe all the awesome presents. I love my giraffe and my big truck (It is so big I can ride on it!!). I have been pulling my caterpillar around all night. Thank you everyone!

Santa

I learned about Santa today. I met him once at the mall. I walked right up to him, and shook his hand. He asked me if I wanted to sit on his lap. I said "no" and walked away. I think he was a little sad. Mom said I was a very brave boy. Well, maybe next year I will talk to the guy...he brought me a rocking horse!!

Xmas...

I was able to visit with my God parents, Kevin and Vera, today. They had to move away, so I do not get to see them very often, but I sure had fun with them. They gave me lots of hugs and kisses, and I was able to show off some of my new skills as well. They brought me a drum! I have been wanting one ever since I saw my first drum set this summer when mom and dad took me on a trip. Boy is it fun t play with. Vera said she should have gotten some ear plugs for mom. Mom says I play very nice music though, so I do not know why she wouldn't want to listen to it...all day long. I am so glad I was able to visit with them on this special day.

Merry Christmas

Today I went back up to Grandma and Grandpa Ray's house for a Christmas Dinner. Boy was it tasty. I loved the stuffing and Great Aunt Monica's fruit salad (yum yum). After dinner, I read books with everyone. I sure like walking up to people and signing "read" and then they read whatever I want! Great Aunt Monica and Great Uncle Fran brought some books for me. They are puzzle books and look like a lot of fun. Dad says they will keep me buys for hours (I guess that means it will keep him busy for hours since I am so insistent on everyone readin to me. I brought my new dinosaurs up to play with Uncle Keegan, but I was so tired, I had to take a nap and I missed out on the fun. I hear he had fun with them even though I wasn’t around. I am glad he is getting some practice in with them, so next time I bring them up we will play together.

Christmas Eve Part 1

Merry Christmas everyone. I spent this morning with Grandma Jodie. She made everyone breakfast and boy was it good! I loved the special french toast with fruit bread and all the fresh fruit my special aunt Ruth brought. After breakfast everyone opened presents. I was the special present helper. I took all the presents to everyone and even tried to help them open them. It can be very tricky you know opening presents. I want to thank Uncle Kevin for the books, Grandma Jodie for the very soft Teddy bear, shirt, and activity center, and Aunt Ruth for the awesome clothes.

Christmas Eve Part 2

Christmas Eve Part 2 was at church. Daddy had a special children's service. There weren't a lot of people there so mom and I sat in the balcony all by our selves. I had so much fun up there. Mom let me walk around and look at everything. Usually I have to sit right next to her and if I don't she makes me leave...But today I could look over the balcony, and walk up and down the stairs. I would watch Daddy, and stop to sing for every song.

Christmas Part 3

Mom and dad are surprised I am still going, but after church we went to Grandma and Grandpa Ray's house to celebrate. I was able to be the special present helper again...until they fired me that is. I guess if you repeatedly give presents to the wrong people, they remove you from your special job. That was ok though, because I had such a good time playing with everyone and opening gifts that I didn't really mind not helping out. You should see my new big boy bike that Grandma and Grandpa gave me. There is a bell and everything. Uncle Keegan introduced me to dinosaurs! Boy are they cool. I can't wait to play dinosaurs with him again. I am working on my roar. Aunt Meg and Uncle Ross are keeping me well stocked in the building area. They gave me my first set of wooden blocks. Thank you everyone! I sure loved hanging out and playing with all of you.

A Little Chef in the Making

I helped mom and dad make cookies today. I had so much fun. Mom put all of the ingredients on the table and I helped dad pour them in the bowl and mix them together. Afterwards I learned how to roll cookie dough into a ball. Mom and Dad would make big cookies and I made little tiny cookies. Sometimes I threw them on the floor and sometimes I ate them. Mom says I can make big cookies when I learn how to put them on the cookie sheet.

Good Nights

Mom and dad said I had to write an entry about my favorite thing to do at night, because I won't believe it when I am older. I love going to bed. When someone tells me it's time to go to bed, I say "nigh nigh" and crawl right over to the stairs, climb up the stairs and go right into bed. I grab my baby, listen to my story, and I am out for the night. Mom and dad are pretty amazed. I don't exactly understand why. When they are tired, they fall asleep...it's no big deal.

Party Time

I went to my first Christmas Party of the season at Rev. Gray's house. I had so much fun playing with his kids. Mr. Taylor taught me a cool new trick...how to juggle two balls. Then Cynthia taught me how to juggle three balls. I spent the rest of the night practicing with everything I could find. Eventually, mom said I had to stop throwing stuff around the house or I would break something. Couldn't she tell I was juggling???

Picture Time

It's my favorite time of year...well not really. It is time to take the Christmas pictures, and mom thinks it is cute to dress me and the dog up and make us do silly things. Well, this year I was Santa Claus, and Maddie (my dog) was supposed to be my reindeer. Well, Maddie didn't like her costume, and I wanted to go play, so we were both giving mom and dad a hard time. Finally we agreed to sit for one minute for our picture to be taken, and wouldn't you know it, Maddie moved, I lost my balance and fell right off the sled...and you know what mom did...She kept taking my picture. Dad finally rescued me. I didn't know pictures could be so rough.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Turkey Day everyone! I am thinking this holiday things is pretty neat. You get to eat all day!! It was awesome. Everyone gave me cookies and other sweat treats that mom never lets me have. Grandma Jodie let me help decorate the Christmas tree. I loved playing with the beads. They make so much noise when you shake them. Grandma Ray made some delicious turkey and mashed potatoes. I ate so much I could barely move. It was all soooo good.

The Children's Museum

Uncle Keegan took me to the Children's museum in Madison today with Grandma and mom. I think Uncle Keegan had about as much fun as I did. It was awesome. I played with a bunch of instruments, dug for dinosaur bones, brushed a cow, and a lot of other cool things. Uncle Keegan tried to help me ride the cow, but mom pointed out the sign that said, "please do not sit on the cow." I was a little disappointed, but we quickly found other things to keep our selves busy. Thanks Uncle Keegan...that was a great idea.

Swimming Lessons

I had my first swim lesson today. There were only four kids in my class and we had so much fun. I learned how to pull myself out of the pool all by myself without even using a ladder! I loved jumping in. Daddy would catch me every time. The teacher tried to teach me how to kick my legs, but all I wanted to do wash splash with my arms.

Sunday, November 6, 2005

Music Appreciation

I went to my first symphony concert today. They did a special performance just for kids like me. I was so excited I couldn't sit still, I bounced in grandma's lap the entire time. I loved the drums! The opera singers were a bit much though. I had to cover my ears. Mom says I have never liked opera.

I Can Walk

I am officially walking now! Of course I am not very good at it yet and fall over all the time, but I am getting the hang of it. Watch out everyone I will be running soon!

Thank You!

I made it. I survived my first birthday jungle party, and had so much fun! Thank you everyone for coming. I loved hanging out with you. You should have seen grandma's house. My Uncles Keegan and Chris decorated it to look just like a jungle. They had streamers that looked just like leaves and trees everywhere. Then they had monkeys hanging from the ceiling fans and climbing up the fireplace. It was awesome. Mom made a very tasty snake and tiger cake and we all ate my favorite food...spaghetti. I learned all about opening presents...I had so much fun tearing off all the wrapping paper! Then inside the wrapping paper were so many cool toys and clothes. I couldn't believe all the wonderful things people thought of. Thank you thank you thank you. They wore me out...I partied all day...and now I am exhausted.

It's My Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to me!! I am 1 year old and to celebrate, I went to the zoo and saw all of my favorite animals. I was so excited to see all the animals, but at first, the zoo seemed to only have trees and lots of sidewalks. I was looking all over to find a lion or a giraffe, but all I saw was sidewalks and people with silly hats. Daddy kept saysing look...look, and I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. I was so bored...But then I saw it...this thing they call a penguin! It swims just like a fish! Can you believe it. Right there at the zoo...I saw it! After that we saw a lot of animals. My favorite was the lion. I thought I was going to be able to pet her and roll around on the ground with her...like I do with Maddie. I crawled right up to her, put out my hand to grab some fur...and all I got was glass. I was a little disappointed. Mom said they needed the glass so she wouldn't eat me, but I wasn't scared at all...she was a nice lion. I could tell.

I am One Smart Cookie!!!

Well, they say I am all most a year old. I hear there will be a party soon. I think it is a pretty special day because I have already gotten some cards and special presents in the mail from my Great great Aunt Pat and Maggie.

Mom and dad are getting so excited. They think I am "so smart" and they keep making me do silly "monkey tricks." "Show me your ear...your mouth..." over and over and over...and every time they get so excited. You know it isn't rocket science.
I am getting to be pretty good at sign language. Grandma Ray taught me how to sign "mom" and "dad." She didn't like me calling everyone a "monkey." Mom and dad thought it was pretty funny, and were sad to find out I didn't think they were monkeys anymore. I have about 17 signs that mom and dad can understand. They say some of them look alike, but they still know what I am talking about. I am also starting to say some words. They aren't like mom and dad's words, but they are getting close. I can say mama, mouth, milk, nana kind of, sort of, but you may not think so. I am kind of sort of, but not really walking too. When I forget to think about walking, I accidently take a few steps.

The Apple Orchard

What a fun day. I went to Edward's Apple Orchard today. It was so cool! Did you know they have goats, and pigs, and geese, and DONUTS!! I rode on a tractor and even bought some apples. Mom and dad said that this place was like the Disney Land of Apple Orchards. I have no idea what that means, but everyone had a great time.

Road Trip

I never thought I would get out of the car...it just kept going and going and going (like that silly bunny on tv). Mom and dad said we went to Michigan and back. I am not sure what Michigan is, but it look an awful lot like Beloit in my opinion. I had a great time there. I hung out with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Brink and some of my Great Aunts and Uncles. We had a BLAST!! Great Grandma has so many neat things for me to play with. I wanted to play with the remote, but she said one wrong button and I would mess up the entire satellite dish. I am sure eventually I could have found the right button too, but no one would let me try. I loved playing with Great Grandma's teddy bears. She had this one toy, it was as big as me, and it even looked like a baby...but it never moved. I was pretty scared for a while, but eventually I sat next to it. I can't wait to go back and visit again.

Things I know...

What I have learned...
1. From my puppy:
How to crawl around on all 4's and shake my head with my
toy in my mouth.
How to lap water from the dog dish.
How to lick the floor.
How to wrestle like a dog.
I have tried to learn how to eat her food...but mom stops
me every time. I try to share my dinner with her...but
mom doens't like that either.

2. From my grandpa(you know which one you are)
How to turn on fans all around the house...over and over
over again.
How to pretend like I am coughing.
How to shake my head so fast it rattles my brain.
How to make the wind chimes sing.
How to work the mouse on the computer...no one else will
let me do that one...
How to twitch my body...mom says I have a nervous tick.

Big News!

Well, Mom and Dad said I could spill the beans...I am going to be a big brother. I am not sure what exactly that means. I thought Mom and Dad were having a baby, but when they showed me the picture of my new brother or sister...it didn't look like a baby to me. I guess it takes awhile for it to start to look like a human.

Dog Washer For Hire

I did my first job today. Maddie was silly and got all dirty, so I had to clean her up. I crawled right in the tub with her, sprayed her off, helped with the soap, and then rinsed her off. I am a very good dog washer if any of you want to hire me...

"Where is Binky???"

It's a sad day in the our house. My pacifier is gone, and I hear it is never coming back...I need to ask Aunt Meg about that one though.

Update...

I have had a busy few weeks. I have become an expert stair climber. I have 4 teeth now so it is easier to bite my food, my mom, and just about anything else that will fit in my mouth. Last night Aunt Meg and Uncle Ross played with my while a bunch of grown-ups quizzed dad on everything he knows about church. He knows a lot, so it took a long time, but I was happy to play with Aunt Meg and Uncle Ross.

Fun With Friends

I love the pool! Today I went to the pool in Edgerton with my friend Owen. We played and splashed in the water and then our mom's took us to the deep water to swim...I even put my head under water. Mom says I can swim just like a fish.

Baby Herding

Maddie is a very tricky dog...When she wants to play with me she bumps into me and I try to go the other way and she bumps into me again...so I try to go a different way and she bumps into me again. She is the only one that has been able to keep me in one spot. It is so fun trying to get away from her.

Picnic in the Park

Great Uncle Fran and Great Aunt Monica took me and mom on a picnic today. They had the best food. Afterwards we played and played and played in the pool. They would splash around with me and drag me through the water. I had so much fun!

A Trip to the Big City

I went to Chicago today with Uncle Keegan and mom. We were going to take the train in, but mom said it might be too dangerous today. Uncle Keegan and I were all ready to protect mom, but she still said no. We ended up driving and got stuck in the middle of the road forever! Mom and Uncle Keegan didn't seem very happy about it, but I thought it was cool to look at all the big trucks. In Chicago I practiced catching fish in this big building called an aquarium. This is a very tricky place...They put up hidden walls....it looks like you can catch the sharks, but at the last minute your fist will hit a hidden wall.

Happy 4th of July!

I had so much fun this weekend. Great Grandma Baker came to visit and we did so many cool things. Did you know you can go to the park...and they give you dinner. It was awesome. There was so much food. I can't wait to go back

I'm Back

I just got back from my very first trip on an airplane! Everyone was worried that I wouldn't like the ride; but let me tell you, it was a piece of cake. I am a pro at this airplane thing...You know this is the second time after all that I have been on an airplane. Mom and dad didn't feel so hot during the big storm we went through, but all the bumps put me right to sleep. I can't wait to do it again!

The National Conference

I hung out with "Grandpa" Dick all night, and had a blast! He read my mind and told mom to let me play on the floor during the big dinner everyone went to. I only tried to steal a couple purses, and all the ladies laughed at me. After dinner, Grandpa Dick danced and danced and danced and danced with me. He even helped me find some beautiful ladies to dance with while he rested. I think I wore him out. You should have seen the band that played for everyone. They were awesome! I loved watching the drums. I think I will be just like Marty when I get bigger. Mom says I can play any other instrument, which means I will probably be a drummer when I get bigger.

A Trip on an Airplane

I am in Kansas City today at the National Association of Congregational Churches National Conference. I think I have this all figured out... it is my job to smile and make everyone laugh. I think I have met just about everyone already. All these people are great. They play with me and talk to me and make me laugh all the time. I met a new fried today as well. Her name is Ester and she is 9 months old. We played together while our parents went to do "grown-up" things.

Thursday, June 23, 2005

First Haircut

Mom and dad took me to the barbershop today. I had a blast. I watched dad get his hair cut, I played with trains and puzzles, and...I got all 6 of my hairs cut. I loved the razor. Rod the barber let me hold it and turn it on. It was so ticklish, I couldn't help but laugh. Afterwards they let me play in the airplane. I hear next time, I might be big enough to sit in it while Rod cuts my hair!

Happy Special Day to Dad

Happy Father's Day Everyone! I turned Father's Day into a week long celebration for dad and did something special for him every day. Dad said he could get used to this. I have been so busy getting ready for this special day. I made so many projects for everyone. My hands and feet are so tired from all the prints I made.

Saturday, June 18, 2005

My Friends

I had so much fun playing with Molly and Owen today. They are two of my friends and we hung out all afternoon. I loved playing with Owen's pool. I splashed the water and Owen helped me get all wet. It was so fun!

A New Discovery

Ok ok...Here is a quick promo for Sam's Club...It is an AWSOME store to shop at. They have food for you to eat as you shop! It is supposed to be a snack, but I made it into my entire lunch. I hear you only get one sample, but who can refuse a face like this. Today I "sampled" chicken, yogurt, and peaches. Yum!

Happy Graduation

Happy graduation party to Dad! I had so much fun at Dad's party. I was able to meet Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Brink. I also met Great Uncle Bob and Great Aunt Linda. I had so much fun with them! They looked at all my pictures, and played with me all afternoon. Lynn and Gramps made the best food! When I wasn't playing, I was eating. I just couldn't get enough of it!

A Say of Firsts...

It was a day of first's for me! This morning, I walked all by myself with my push wagon. Then I signed "bye, all done, and help". Uncle Shawn made me my first meal of mac and cheese. Boy was that good. I also got my first taste of an ice cream cone. Mom says when I get bigger I can have the whole cone. I can't wait! My God-parents Vera and Kevin will be happy to know I can put my blocks into the giraffe stacker all by myself. It's kind of wierd...Everytime I put a block in everyone laughs and claps for me. I can't wait to see what they will do when I actually figure out how to walk all by myself!

Can I Swim Like A Fish?

Mom got me a happy summer present today, and guess what it was...my very own swimming pool! I had a blast. I played in the water for 45 minutes while dad took my picture. I don't know why he didn't join me in the water. It was way to hot to sit and watch. I loved splashing and crawling around. I even went fishin in the pool and caught a fish! I hope mom will put more water in next time. She told dad to turn off the hose so I wouldn't drown in the pool. I think I am taller than 6 inches, so I don't think she has anything to worry about.

The Best Baby Sitters...

I had so much fun with Aunt Meg and Uncle Ross today. They came to my house to watch me while mom and dad went out. I hope they go out more often because I did all kinds of cool things. Aunt Meg gave me a frozen wash cloth. She wanted me to chew on it, but it was so hot, all I wanted to do was put it on my head. Uncle Ross read me the best going to bed story. It was so good, I promptly fell asleep. I didn't get any time to sing them my "I don't want to go to bed" song. Mom says they can come back any time they want, she says she wouldn't miss my song either.

Monday, May 30, 2005

Happy Memorial Day!

What a busy day... I went to my first parade today. I really couldn't understand why so many people were sitting around on a side walk waving at other people walking down the street. Then I went and played with Grumpy, Grandma Ray, Aunt Meg, Uncle Keegan, Uncle Shawn, Great Uncle Fran, Great Aunt Monica, and even Great Aunt Carol. I met Kota and Chibi. They liked to lick my face. I can't wait till the puppies get a little bigger so I can play with them all by myself. Everyone played with me outside because it was so nice out. I love swinging!

A Bottomless Pit (...but not quite)

Gramps and Lynn made dinner for me tonight. They made the best roast beef! I love my special chair. I was able to eat with everyone right at the table. I had so much fun playing with everyone. I am getting really good at getting around and climbing over things. So good in fact, I rolled so much I made my entire dinner come back up all over the carpet. Everyone was surprised I could eat so much!!

I'm Going to the Zoo, Zoo Zoo

Uncle Keegan and Grandma Ray took me to the zoo today. I had so much fun with them. Even though mom has told me I like the monkeys the best, I think I like the ostrich and the rhino. We spent 2 hours looking at all the animals. Uncle Keegan let me ride on his shoulders just like a little monkey when we went in the monkey house. Thank you Uncle Keegan, I love my new Lion hat.

First Tooth (kind of, sort of)

Dad discovered my surprise today! I have a tooth...well, I have a little nub of what will eventually be a tooth. He was so proud of me. He called everyone he knew to tell them about it.

Play Time

Did you know that the green stuff outside is grass and it tastes good. I got to play in it for the first time this afternoon.

Artistic Impressions

I made a surprise for both my grandma's today. Dad had to help though. I really thought I was supposed to be the surprise, so I did my best to make myself as colorful as possible. I was so sad when mom put me in the tub and gave me a bath. Can you believe they wanted to keep the paper they put on my high chair so I would get that all full of paint. I was so handsome. I used every ounce of my artistic skills.

Friday, April 22, 2005

Potty Time?

I accidentally went on the potty today! Well, if you ask Grandma Ray she will say it was all a part of a well designed plan. Either way, I didn't get flushed down and I lived to tell about it.

Sunday, April 10, 2005

A Real Outdoor's Men

I went hiking today! Mom and dad got me this cool backpack to ride in. It was so comfortable I slept the entire way.

Saturday, April 9, 2005

I'm Goin To The Zoo, Zoo, Zoo

I went to the zoo today. Aunt Meg and Uncle Ross taught me all about the animals. I liked the brown bear the best. Mom says that's only because that was the only animal that was awake in the entire zoo.

Spring is Here

I love spring! Grumpy put up a big boy swing for me outside today. The weather was so nice. I was able to play all afternoon.

Sunday, March 27, 2005

He is risen!

Mom and dad say I made it through another holiday. I am not sure what the big deal is. They seem so exhausted, but I had so much fun. Yesterday I wished Gramps and Lynn happy Easter and they gave me a HUGE bunny. It was bigger than me! Then, the Easter bunny brought me a basket with goodies in it. I wore a special vest that Grandma Jodie made to church and everyone thought I looked so grown up. Then...Grandma Jodie took me out to eat. She gave me this neat lamb book that shakes when you pull the tail. Then...I went to Grandma Ray and Grump's. Uncle Keegan and Uncle Chrris played with me for awhile and Great Uncle Fran taught me about basketball. I was supposed to cheer for the Badgers, but they lost anyway. Everyone kept scaring me with all the loud cheering so mom made me take a nap upstairs. Afterwards, I open ANOTHER gift. Grandma and Grumpy gave me my very first swimsuit. Dad had to blow it up, and they said I looked like Santa when I put it on. Grandma says it will help me float in the water. Great Aunt Monica and Aunt Meg did a good job sharing me today. I sure love hanging out with everyone.

My Cousins

Today I was able to hang out with my cousins Logan and Tervor. They gave me so many cool presents like this Elmo toy that plays music and a book bigger than me to play with when I get home. I also was able to hang out for a little bit with Aunt Terri and Uncle Dennis. They are so fun!

My cousins are sooo funny! They taught me all about wrestling today. I wish I was big enough to join in, but Aunt Terri made me sit in her lap and watch. She said I could get hurt, but it looked like so much fun. I laughed and laughed and laughed at them. I can't wait until I am big enough to play with them. Mom never shows me fun stuff like that.

But then it was time for the car again!! Mom and dad say the trip is over and it is time to go home. I was sad to leave everyone, and not at all happy to be back in my seat. But sleep won out again and I was out for almost the entire ride.

Road Trip

It's spring break, and I am going on a road trip! Mom and dad packed up all my stuff and squished everything into the car. I hear we are going to visit Great Grandma and then Aunt Terri and her family. I am so excited!!

Road Trip

I didn't know "road trip" meant "stuck in my car seat." The hours upon hours stuck in the car was so boring I couldn't help but sleep the entire time. Mom and dad tried to entertain me by singing, but truthfully, this road trip thing is not as fun as mom and dad made it seem.

I'm a Big Boy!

Ok ok...the fun has arrived. I just love hanging out with Great Grandma. I think I gave her a workout though. After sitting so long in the car I wanted to bounce and jump and wiggle all over the place. I was able to show off all of my new tricks like moon walking and peek a boo. She seemed so impressed that I could sit up and drink from my sippie cup. She said I am getting to be such a big boy.

Food...Yuck, Yuck, Yuck

I still haven't gotten this food thing down. It all smells so good, but most of it tastes soooo bad. I just don't get it. I am finally getting used to avocado. No more gagging. I try to spit it out, but mom puts it right back in. Bananas are ok, but peaches....peaches are too sweet for me. Just the tiniest taste and I just about jump out of my seat in shock. I squint my eyes together and scream until mom takes a towel to clean my mouth up. Yuck!

Monday, March 7, 2005

Fun Times

I am starting to discover how funny things really are. Take for example the "5 Little Monkeys" They keep falling off the bed and every time the Dr. tells them "no more monkeys jumping on the bed!" I just laugh and laugh and laugh at them. Daddy can also get me going when he tickles and jiggles my tummy. It is so much fun.

Monday, February 21, 2005

Food...Yuck

Parents are weird. They were sitting down at the table again tonight, but instead of just eating like they usually do, they kept looking at me and smiling. Before I knew what was happening, Mommy spooned this stuff in my mouth. It tasted like milk, but it wasn't milk. It was kinda squishy like a pacifier, but it wasn't a pacifier. I think I'll call it macifier, or maybe pilk. It's kinda pointless stuff. Just runs down your chin all the time, but it sure made Mom and Dad laugh, so I played along.

My babysitters

How many adults does it take to watch a baby?? In my case since I am extra special....4! Mom and dad went out to dinner so Great Aunt Monica, Great Uncle Fran, Uncle Keegan and Gina all decided they wanted to baby-sit. I decided to show off a little and taught them all about diaper explosions. It was so much fun. I hope we get to hang out again some time.

My Baptism

Today was a very special day! It was my baptism. So many special people came to share in my big day. Mom and dad's very special friend "Grandpa" Dick came all the way up from Az. to baptize me along with Rev. Gray. Mom and dad and everyone in my church family promised to teach me all about God and to help me come to love him in my life just like they do. After church, mom and dad had a big party just for me! Grandma and Grumpy, Aunt Meg, Uncle Shawn, Uncle Keegan, Uncle Kevin, Gramps, Lynn, "Grandpa" Dick, Great Uncle Fran, Great Aunt Monica, my God Parents Kevin and Vera, the Gray family and the Hanson family all came to celebrate. I want to thank them for their wonderful gifts that they gave to help me start my journey of faith.

Bapa Dick

I was able to meet "Grandpa" Dick today! He was so neat. He talked to me and made me laugh for 5 minutes! No one has ever been able to get me to do that before. He even helped me fall asleep when I had a bad tummy ache. I was so happy to be able to play with him.

Tongue Clipping

We went to the dr. today...but this dr. was different from all the rest of them (he wasn't very nice). Everything started out fine. HE played with me and looked in my mouth. The next thing I know, I am strapped down to a table and he shoves this metal thing in my mouth! He clipped my tongue. Actually he didn't clip my tongue he clipped the little flap of skin under my tongue. It hurt...it really hurt. But I was tough and I only cried a little. Mommy said I was a brave pumpkin. On a completely unrelated note...I can now wiggle my tongue all over the place and stick it out at daddy. I spent all afternoon making faces at people. I never knew my tongue could be so fun.

Mom Goes Back to Work

Mommy and daddy both had to work today so I got to stay with Grandma and Grumpy Ray. I even got to hang out with Uncle Keegan. He read books to me. He went so slow though. I had to keep him moving along by turning the page.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! It's my resolution to puke on daddy at least once a day since he likes it so much when I do that. Since mommy likes to change diapers, I resolve to always fill my pants immediately after she changes them.
